Add To Watchlist collects the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account information: Email address and password (managed by Firebase Authentication).
• Watchlist data: The URLs you share, extracted metadata (titles, images, descriptions), and your watch status preferences.
• Device information: Basic device identifiers for crash reporting and analytics (if enabled).

How We Use Your Data

• To save and display your watchlist items with rich metadata.
• To sync your watchlist across your devices.
• To improve the app experience through anonymous, aggregated usage data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud database, file storage, and hosting. Firebase Privacy Policy
• TMDb (The Movie Database): Movie and TV show metadata (posters, cast, ratings). We send search queries (titles) to TMDb to fetch metadata. TMDb Privacy Policy

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase services (Firestore and Cloud Storage) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to your authenticated account only.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete individual watchlist items at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the "Delete Account" option in the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

Add To Watchlist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
